Rayna Girson, Founder
Rayna Girson, founder of First and Park Beauty, honed her craft as an NYC stylist before returning to her hometown of Columbus, Ohio. With an emphasis on seamless blends and flowing shapes full of movement, Rayna strives to create lived-in hair that grows beautifully and is simple for clients to recreate at home. She aims to enhance each client’s natural texture using strategic cutting and coloring techniques rather than fighting it. As a lifelong enthusiast for all things related to wellness, Rayna is dedicated to creating beauty for her clients from the inside out. Outside of the salon, she enjoys traveling, fitness, vintage shopping, and spending time with her family.
Emily Nugent, Stylist
Emily, a licensed cosmetologist since 2012, loves all things health and beauty. She’s excited to return to the salon environment after taking time to raise her young family. Emily is dedicated to her craft, a nonstop learner, always seeking new education to deliver the latest styles, techniques, and trends for her clients. Behind the chair, she is an empathetic listener and enjoys helping her clients solve any and every hair issue. The relationships built and helping her clients feel their best are her favorite parts of being a stylist. She believes in educating clients on the products and maintenance to achieve their desired look. When not at the salon, Emily spends time with her three young kids and husband, enjoys traveling, working out, reading, and playing tennis.
