Emily has been doing my hair for the past year, and I have been so happy with the color each session. She has given me the most natural, "lived-in" blonde balayage highlights that makes maintenance easy. I am due for another session soon, but I'm still getting stopped by people asking who does my hair and if I just got it done! Before each session begins, Emily does a great job of listening and working through any changes/adjustments that are being made, as well as offering her advice along with a plan; each experience truly feels special! Emily is not only professional, but a joy to chat with. The styling is always so well done and I leave First & Park feeling bright and refreshed.

I'm new to Columbus and it's been a process to find my people; needing new doctors, new esthetician, new friends and most importantly, a new hairdresser! I definitely found her in Rayna! She was warm and sweet, she listened to what I was hoping to achieve, my hair challenges and took it away. I could not be more pleased to have found my hair home in Columbus at First & Park!

I started going to Emily while getting ready for my wedding, and she completely transformed my hair. She corrected years of cuts and colors I didn’t love and got my hair to a place where I felt so confident and beautiful on my wedding day—and I’m still obsessed with it months later. The salon itself is so calm, welcoming, and just a really lovely place to be. I also have a lot of grays in my twenties, and Emily has blended them so naturally that I never have harsh grow-out lines. I truly trust her with my hair and can’t recommend her enough!

I absolutely love the highlights and cuts I’ve gotten from Emily! She truly listens to what I want and offers thoughtful suggestions tailored to my hair care routine. Her product recommendations have been spot-on, and thanks to her expertise, my hair’s overall health has improved. Plus, I always enjoy coming to the salon; the welcoming atmosphere and Emily’s friendly vibe make each visit a relaxing and fun experience.

Emily at First & Park Beauty is the absolute BEST! I am a brunette and have had the hardest time finding someone in Columbus who can color my greys, keep me from fading warm, & give a great cut in addition to color services - enter Emily, and all my problems have been solved! Bonus is that she is the easiest to chat with! Could not recommend more!!!!! 5-stars!!!!

I’ve been coming to see Emily since day one! I see her every month and it’s always one of my favorite days! She is such a ray of sunshine and makes you feel so pretty! The salon is so warm and inviting. I tell everyone I can about Emily and the salon. Can’t recommend enough! XO!

Arabella is amazing!! I've been getting blonde highlights for years but never have I had highlights that look so beautiful! She is honestly masterful at creating stunning blonde hair that also looks natural. Arabella listens well and is easy to talk with! I highly recommend her! Best blonde hair I've ever had.

First of all, the salon is super cute! Love the vibe. Second of all, Samantha did an amazing job of coloring my hair exactly like I wanted! I was hoping to go a little lighter, more blonde pieces, but looking “lived in” or balayage. She nailed the color and gave my hair definition! And the cut? I just wanted a trim and she did exactly that. Gave me perfect layers and just enough off the bottom to make my hair healthy again! Samantha absolutely hit it out of the park for the image I had in my head of what I wanted. 👏🏻 10/10 recommend Sam - I’ll be back!!

I had a great experience getting my hair done by Sam! I originally wanted a dusty pink, but with my thick, dark hair, Sam took the time to walk me through the cost, potential damage, and realistic results. She was super knowledgeable and honest. She will tell you if she thinks the inspo is achievable or not, which to me is very helpful! It sets a very realistic expectation and I don’t have to come home disappointed because we talked about alternatives! We ended up going with a subtle red violet shade (which I ended up loving even more 🥰)!! 100/10 recommend. The pricing is also very reasonable for the quality of service. The salon is clean, relaxing, and has such soothing vibes. Plus, the location is super accessible—definitely coming back!

I have been going to Samantha for several years now and am SO excited she found a home at this adorable salon! I have a TON of hair, and Samantha always makes me feel welcome, attended to, and loved on during my sessions - even though I KNOW she’s having to put in extra work to care for this mane!

When I started getting my hair colored, Samantha saw the vision and executed FLAWLESSLY. I have gotten so many compliments on how healthy my hair looks; the color looks natural and gorgeous. She is truly the greatest, and her heart is massive too - you’re in for some great girl talk with her. 🩶

Emily is a miracle worker! I've always had fine hair that is subject to damage. I had not had a cut in a couple years because of bad experiences at other salons-- unflattering cuts, not listening to what I want, styles that just weren't me. Emily listened to me and asked questions to better understand my needs and lifestyle. She gave me a cut and style that looks great in humidity, wind, sun, whatever the weather. I love it and finally have a look that makes me feel confident for whatever the day brings. I think this is an indicator of a really good cut and a very talented stylist.

absolutely love this place my new go to!! the whole salon is beautiful and very clean and all the workers are soo sweet! i got my hair done by arabella and she was fantastic! she is so sweet and very talented. i have very long thick hair and was getting a balayage which takes a bit longer to do but she was soo patient and really took her time. the hair came out amazing i have never loved my hair more i am obsessed! i will definitely be coming back and will continue to get my hair done with arabella!

Samantha did a great job cutting my hair! It came out very beautiful and she was very kind and thoughtful. I ended up coming back to get some bangs after she cut my hair the first time.

Arabella is amazing! I went to her for a mini blonding service and I’m seriously obsessed with how it turned out. She totally got the vibe I was going for and made everything look super natural and blended. The whole appointment was super chill—she’s so sweet and easy to talk to, and you can tell she really knows what she’s doing. I left feeling so good and already can’t wait to go back. Definitely recommend her if you want your blonde to look effortless and fresh!

First Park & Beauty first off is a beautiful salon in general. The location is great, it is super clean, decorated perfectly. I was lucky to get my hair done by Emily Nugent. She always does such an incredible job on my hair. She understands my vision and always executes it perfectly. I get highlights and a cut. The highlights blend so nicely with my natural hair and the cut is always great. She is easy to talk to and I can say with full confidence she does the best on my hair over anyone else I have ever gone too. I 100% recommend First Park & Beauty and Emily Nugent!
